HI there, so happy I found this site……….really really happy. I posted on Rise Out yesterday all choked up about it. So glad to find others out there..so excited to read about deschooling and unschooling Oh My! I am hoping you can let me know the name of the Intentional Community just outside of Olypia that is mentioned under articles tagged homeschooling. I am researching Intentional Communities in an effort to explore possible ways in which I could both sustain my family by sharing the costs of living financial, emotional, etc and explore some new options in alternative education. Also if you, whomever “you” are could recommend any other intentional communities in Washington or otherwise that are ideal for small children. I feel strange asking a comment box about this but you gotta start somewhere and
I need to start exploring some options I have not let myself explore yet. Also are the free schools you link to …..I only checked the nOlypia one……for small children too? Thanks, Maggie

Meeting new people, inviting those who have come from somewhere else into the fold with such grace and love. So much cooperation was had, so much rekindling of relationships, and so very much joy shared. (Aidan writes and writes and [...]
Last Days (August 20th & 21st – Daystar, Castle Park, dance party & graduation) I love that as we posed for the above portraits at Castle Park, and I held you each to me, I could feel the beating of each of your hearts. So much magic in that sound and the rhythm of them against my hands. It [...]
